The Art Of Haggling

Unfortunately, where I live haggling isn't really done. In fact, until I went to Russia last year I'd never really heard of it before (shock horror!) so I have to admit I wasn't very good at it which sucked for me because I would be cheerfully going along buying all my souvenirs whilst my friends would be getting the same Russian dolls for a third of the price. And that made me think, for people like me, are there tips on better haggling?

Things to do for FREE in Bayeux

Bayeux is a quaint town in Northern France and it often draws in a lot of tourists due to it's historical location; so close to the Normandy beaches. There are lots of things to do in Bayeux but for many frugal travellers like me, something for free is always good to know!

No (smart) traveller wants to carry buckets of cash around with them when they're travelling, simply because it's such a risk, and it's particularly a problem if you're travelling for a long time and don't want to pay the extra fee a credit card charges abroad. I've heard many people talking about these travel cash cards and a few of my family members dubious of my travelling antics have suggested them because they know how much money I have to take with me. But with so many companies to choose from, which one's the best?

Can you take contact lenses on planes?

I went to Mallorca last month and one querie that crossed my mind was about my contact lenses. Airports and most plane companies are pretty funny about what you can and can't take on the plane - one of those things in particular are liquids.
